There's nothing seriously wrong with him, except for a large knot growing on his forehead. But if someone wants to help a guy out, that'd be nice.]

[That still doesn't seem like a verb to him. But Arthur decides to hold his tongue for once, since this Megamind is helping him walk, and could've dropped him by now if he wanted.]

[ There's a man waiting inside, doing his checks of supplies, the daily grind between patients. He arches his brows behind his glasses. ]

Don't tell anyone what? [ Bruce asks as Megamind moves Arthur toward one of the exam tables. ]

[Arthur sits down hard with a wince.] Why don't you want anyone to know?

[ Megamind rolls his eyes. ]

Because it's a-- good guy thing. I am not a good guy. Now if you don't mind, Angus needs to do his business in a place that is not the infirmary! [ and with a flourish and not even a wave, he just--strides out. ]

[ Bruce watches the exchange with an arched brow. ]

So, ah-- let's see your head. What happened? I assume that wasn't your attacker...

[Arthur can't explain Megamind anymore than you can, sir.] No, it was Morgana. I met her on the stairs.

[ Not his inmate, not the attacker, therefore, not his problem. ]

Let's get you some ice and some pain killers. What did she strike you with?

[Arthur doesn't know what 'pain killers' are, since Gaius calls them remedies and potions and things of that nature but he nods in agreement anyway. They sound like a good thing by a literal definition.]

Her magic.

Well, there's no pathology for magic. [ Bummer though. ] Well, in the mean time we'll check for concussion and go bout the usual song and dance.

[ Time to do things like shine lights in your eyes and test your memory, Arthur. ]

[Man, Gaius usually just hmms and haws at him.]

Meaning what?

Concussion; a type of head injury. Unmonitored it can lead to more severe complications such as bleeds into the brain and coma.

You seem to be properly responsive, though, so I'm going to have to guess you just have a really nasty bump. I'll get you some pills to take and an ice pack.

[Arthur has a strangely thick skull.]

I haven't had... pills before.

[ He is rapidly figuring out you're not a LARPer or cosplayer, Arthur. ] They're small medicines. Here. [ Time to get one, show him, and a glass of water. ] Pill on tongue, drink some water, take pill with it.

Don't chew the pill. It's not good for you.

[Just the good ol King of Camelot. Arthur takes the pill from his hand, eyeing it for a moment before putting it in his mouth. He trusts that Merlin would not work with people in the Infirmary who would give him something harmful.

With the water, it's not as bitter as some of the stuff that Gaius gives him. That's a plus.]

It'll take some time to take affect, so if I were you I'd just go to your cabin, dim the lights and lay down for a bit. It'll help. [ Gonna get you a bottle of pain killers and hand-write some specific instruction in simpler terms for the king of cosplay. ]

[The simpler the better. Arthur nods a little, making a small face when his head throbs because of it. He's not very good at taking it easy, so there's no promises if he'll actually go rest in his room after this.]

I'm Dr. Banner. You can call me Bruce, however.

[ Don't make him march you there Arthur. ]

King Arthur of Camelot. But you may simply call me Arthur.

[ Bruce's brows go right up, over his glasses, and then down. Well, then. Okay. How about that. ]

Nice to meet you, Arthur.

[ This was a turn for the weird. ]

[You turn into a green rage monster, you have no room to talk.] And you, Bruce. [Arthur inclines his head slightly.] You're done with me then?

[ Still weird to him, okay. ]

I will. If you happen to tell Merlin about this, tell him that he doesn't need to fuss like a woman. [That's the King of Camelot, he never stops making fun of Merlin.]
