Does anyone on this ship have any experience with a sword? I mean, I would prefer it if you've done more than just look at it, but even the most hopeless have to start somewhere.

I would suggest the lance but it seems a little impractical here. There's always the mace. Or if you have your own weapon of choice, I'm willing to learn.

I can use a shortsword, estoc, and claymore, axes and greataxes, single-head or double, maces, morningstars, cudgels, warhammers, et cetera, various polearms, and lately I've been studying daggerwork, but I prefer the bastard sword. Not that there are any here. [Any more.

The Barge provides for sabre and foil. No shields, though.
