[It'd taken him a few days to realize it. Arthur was so relieved that he didn't have to pretend like he could decently clean up after himself that he didn't notice at first. And it's been a while since he's been in Camelot, so his memories are a little fuzzy but Merlin definitely never hung around there as much as he is now.

He's pretending to read a book while Merlin fixes a tear in one of his trousers. Then what he's thinking just falls out of his mouth.]

[All the magic here, on some level, makes him uncomfortable. On his own, it's not something he can fight, or even protect the people he cares about from, and that is probably never going to sit well with him. But it's Merlin and he's all but made up his mind to change Camelot's law purely because of Merlin, so.]
