But she didn't hear him running after her, either. At the end of the hall, before darting down the stairs, Morgana turned to see Arthur paused outside her room. Her heart was hammering, but she still shouted at him.]

She didn't wait to see what Merlin had to say or why Arthur had stopped; it was a blessing that he had, she didn't much care why. So she turned away and fled down the stairs. It was a relief not to hide all the hatred she felt for him anymore.]
