It would seem that my Inmate, Nathan Petrelli is no longer registering on my... Item. [Is that what it's called? Oh who cares.] I can only conclude it is because he is no longer on board. I thought there'd be some of you that would like to know that.

Last week, I challenged the Lady Morgana, an Inmate here. It wasn't exactly a fair fight. [He means the fact that he had a real sword and she had a wooden one, even though he offered to trade and she didn't take him up on it and also she sucks with a sword compared to him anyway. And also she's a woman.] I injured her leg.

I accept any punishment is customary for this place.

Telling me that my Inmate cheated because she used what weapons were available to her is not going to win any points with me.

Especially when I know for a fact that she had a practice sword, and unless you're going to tell me that you took one up, too, then you're both a coward and deserving of whatever burn or abrasion she left on your person.

And fine, by your backward logic, if she's a cheater, then you're both cheaters. You're just the one who's a Warden here and should know better. And aren't you supposed to be a King where you come from?

This may generate a laugh or two from anyone that knows me, but GROW UP.

Last I checked, you weren't responsible for her actions, just yours.

If you want to admit that you did wrong and say that you will accept consequences, then there's your consequence: That you have to apologize to someone for wronging them, rather than hold your apology hostage like it's worth so much that your royal ego has to be appeased before you can afford to be a decent person.

Comrade, I felt that he acknowledged that he was a cheater in the content of his explanation, and expressed concern for the injury given to your inmate?

Overall, this seems to me like quite a responsible way for someone to behave after doing something like this.

Is there a customary punishment for this kind of behavior that you know of?

He said that it was an unfair fight then privately insisted just now that Morgana cheated because she resorted to magic when a wooden sword couldn't hold up to steel.

Do you not think that there's some possibility that he added that part, because knowing how your inmate uses her power is relevant to you as her warden? If he was trying to deny responsibility, or tar your inmates name, why not say those things publicly?

I mean, if Barron had been in the same situation, and used his power? I wouldn't be angry with him, but I would certainly want to know about it.
